The Palestinian Center for Youth Economic Empowerment (CYEE), Future Development Commission (FDC), PADICO HOLDING and Silatech Foundation launch the second season of Tamayaz program at the University of Palestine and the University of Gaza.
The Palestinian Center for Youth Economic Empowerment and Future Development Commission in the Gaza Strip launched the second season of TAMAYEZ Program at the University of Palestine and the University of Gaza in Samir Abu Saleem Theater in the University of Palestine, immediately after the graduation celebration of 50 participants from the first season in the presence of representatives of civil and community institutions, private sector companies and media agencies.
The event was attended by the Counselor of the Palestinian Center for Youth Economic Empowerment; Mr. Bader Zamara, the Executive Director of Sharek Youth Forum; Mr. Samir O. Hulileh, the Chief Executive Officer of PADICO HOLDING, Mrs. Aisha Abu Shaqfa, the Executive Director of (FDC), Mrs. Sahar Othman, the Executive Director of (CYEE) in the West Bank, and Dr. Salem Sabah, the President of the University of Palestine, Dr. Mahmoud Al- Ajrami, the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Mr. Mohammed Mousa, the Human Resources Manager at Jawwal, as a representative of the private sector, and Mr. Wadih Al-Masri, the Director of PADICO in Gaza, and finally the representative of the Palestinian Center for Youth Economic Empowerment and the Program Coordinator in Gaza Mr. Mohamed Mohsen.
The celebration coincides with the launch of the second season of the program in Gaza and the graduation of the third season in the West Bank. We affirm our commitment and determination to continue the program with all partners and work to join more Palestinian universities for the program which aims to prepare young people for entry into the labor market, increase their motivation and improve their chances of competition through an integrated program designed specifically to improve their skills at different levels.
The program aims to provide students and graduates from local universities with the life skills and expertise which is necessary to engage strongly in the labor market, as well as improve their competitiveness in the local and international markets through an integrated program focused on raising the entrepreneurial spirit of the student, graduate and develop their leaderships skills.
This program comes within the framework of a true partnership between the private sector institutions, community institutions, and local universities and their national and social responsibilities toward youth. This Palestinian Leading Program “Tamayaz” which adopted by the private sector and led by PADICO HOLDING has launched a series of practical interventions that began with three local universities and reaches ten now in which students are offered practical skills, leaderships, and creativity to help them enter the labor market strongly.
It should be noted that the program is sponsored by PADICO HOLDING and Silatech Foundation and is being implemented in Gaza by the Palestinian Center for Youth Economic Empowerment in partnership with the Future Development Commission.
At the end of the ceremony, the certificates were distributed to graduates of the first season students, the honorary and appreciation shields were given to the implementing partners in Gaza, and the partnership agreements were signed with the universities of Palestine and Gaza to begin the second season.
